Bill Wagner, is the Executive Director of the Detroit Catholic Pastoral Alliance. His connection to the city of Detroit goes back three generations and has remained an important part of his identity. Bill himself grew up in the Metro Detroit area and has an Undergraduate Degree from Oakland University. His interest in volunteerism and public service took him to Chicago after graduation where he worked tirelessly with former Illinois Governor Pat Quinn for many years.
Bill learned that ethics and moral conviction can be driving forces for making change through nonprofit works. Bill always stayed committed to his faith based and non- profit work and earned his Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management from DePaul University in December 2022. Bill returned to the Detroit area in November of 2023 to assist family and made the decision to remain in the area to be near his loved ones.
