HISTORY
How the Detroit Catholic Pastoral Alliance began
The Detroit Catholic Pastoral Alliance began with of a group of priests who after the riots of 1967, envisioned more for a city that had been deeply divided by the sin of racism.

Over the years the Alliance incorporated and grew; the parishes became more involved in the social movements of the day; yet their commitment to creating an equitable and just city for the people has never wavered.
Our Staff.
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed it is the only thing that ever has.
